Skincare Education Sales Specialist

A premium skincare brand is hiring two Skincare Education Sales Specialists to drive sales growth and expand its presence in major beauty retailers across New York City and New Jersey. You will train store associates, run product demonstrations and coach selling skills. This field-based role reports to the National Field Manager.

Location: New York, New York

Shift/Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, field-based across New York City and New Jersey

Pay/Compensation: $30.00 per hour

Assignment Details

• Contract assignment, 6 months with possible extension
• Work setting: field-based (local travel within about 50 miles of Manhattan)
• Openings: 2
• Anticipated start: November 1, 2026

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor sales performance across Sephora, Ulta Beauty and Macy's locations and identify opportunities to grow sales
• Train store associates on skincare products, benefits and effective selling techniques
• Deliver customer-facing product demonstrations and organize in-store events and promotions
• Build strong relationships with store managers, retail associates and brand representatives
• Coach associates on customer service, product recommendations and sales techniques
• Maintain accurate daily, monthly and seasonal sales reports against sales goals
• Stay informed on retail trends and customer preferences

Required Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales of skincare, beauty or cosmetics
• Experience training retail staff and delivering product education or demonstrations
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
• Comfortable traveling regularly between retail locations across New York City and New Jersey
• Ability to work independently and manage a field-based territory

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coaching associates to improve sales performance
• Experience running in-store events
• Beauty advisor background
• Strong reporting and sales tracking skills
• Familiarity with Sephora, Ulta Beauty and Macy's retail environments

Work Environment

• Field-based with no fixed office location
• Visits to retail stores throughout New York City and New Jersey, ideally within a 50-mile radius of Manhattan
• One-way mileage from home to the store and parking expenses are reimbursed, subject to policy
• Regular weekday hours
