Designer - Interior Design - Junior

Role Overview As a Gensler interiors-focused Designer, you will combine creativity, storytelling, and technical knowledge with business skills to produce experience-driven spaces for clients. You should have exceptional design skills, commercial experience, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. What You Will Do Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation. Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting. Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction. Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts. Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Interior Design. 1–5 years of professional interior design experience. Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and other modeling software programs. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Strong graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas. Portfolio Requirements To be considered, please submit portfolio and/or work samples in PDF format. The base salary will be estimated between $70,400 and $80,000 plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience.
