About the Role: As an Infection Control Preventionist at Valley View Care Center, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff. Key responsibilities include: Conducting daily rounds to identify and address areas of concern Developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures Providing education and training to staff on infection control practices Identifying and reporting potential risks and areas for improvement Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure proper infection control practices are followed Monitoring and reporting infection rates and trends Maintaining accurate records and reports Requirements: 1 years of experience as an Infection Control Preventionist LVN/LPN or RN Licensed Strong knowledge of infection control principles and practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a certified infection control program and certification as an Infection Control Preventionist (CIC) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe What We Offer: A dynamic and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Competitive salary Medical, dental, and vision insurance, or other benefits as applicable #J-18808-Ljbffr
