Hematology/Oncology Physician Opportunity

Seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for an outpatient and inpatient role with standard office hours (Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm) and protected administrative time (8+ hours per week). Call schedule is shared, approximately 1:4 rotation for patient care needs through telephone calls, also supported by after-hours nurse triage. Support staff includes a dedicated nurse, APPs, and a specialized oncology nursing team. There are 4 physicians and 3 APPs currently. Cerner EMR is used with an average patient volume of 15-20 patients per day. Patient census is primarily adult patients with a wide range of cancers and hematologic disorders, from early-stage to advanced. Demographics include a mix of rural and suburban patients, many with complex care needs. The clinic/facility includes a 10-chair infusion center, onsite lab and pharmacy, two additional infusion centers on campus (1 general/1 rheumatology), and imaging/diagnostics such as PET scanning, 64-slice CT, 3-D mammography, breast MRI, high-definition endoscopy/bronchoscopy. Tumor boards are bi-weekly for breast, PCC, GI, and ENT. Competitive compensation includes a guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses, base compensation of 700k+ (flexible/negotiable) + bonus potential.
