Job Title

This person will be responsible for following detailed instructions given by the supervisor and read plans sufficiently to verify instructions. Also responsible for fluid transfers between the transport vehicle and the Grind and Inject Facility (G&I), Checking in transport vehicle drivers for load disposal, Radio Communication with Crew, swapping injection well flow lineup, rinsing tanks and vessels, maintenance of equipment under direction, and the general housekeeping of the facility.

Essential Duties & Job Functions

• Assist in operations, maintenance, and logistics.
• Support operational staff daily task.
• Adherence to Slurry QA/QC requirements:
• Batch testing for particle size, density, rheology
• Monitoring and maintaining appropriate injection rates
• Must work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
• Ensures a safe work environment.
• General physical labor.
• Assembles and repairs oilfield machinery and equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
• Assists in civil and mechanical construction, excavation/trenching, backfill/compacting, raking, shoveling, cleaning, and organizing materials.
• Bolts or nails together wood or steel framework.
• Ability to use a band saw, mag drill, grinder, hand held portable drill, read a tape measure, and other applicable hand tools/power tools.
• Assist in loading and unloading of material and equipment for mobilization. Knowledge of load securement practices.
• Bolts together pumping unit, flanges, engine parts, etc.
• Connects tanks and flow lines, using wrenches.
• Unscrews or tightens pipe, casing, tubing and pump rods, using hand and power wrenches and tongs.
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and warning signs, drawings, specifications, rigging diagrams and lifting capacity charts for equipment and load carrying parts.
• Skilled in oral communication in order to give and receive oral safety warnings, instructions and task assignments.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• NSTC Certification
• May require minimal heavy equipment (Skid Steer, loader, etc.) experience.
• Some positions may require hazardous materials endorsement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience around heavy equipment in an oilfield environment is preferred.
• Alaska Waste and Reuse Guide (Redbook) Trained (Company may provide).
• Rigging experience is preferred.
• CDL highly desirable.

Physical Requirements

A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. • MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
• HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
• VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
• LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
• RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to severe outside weather conditions. This includes extreme cold in the winter. The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving parts, etc. depending on the position and work environment. The noise level is usually moderate to loud.
• 7-day work week, 84 hours a week or more on a 3-week rotational schedule. Lodging and food are provided. PPE and Flame-Resistant Clothing are provided.
