Good physical health. Knowledge of motor vehicle rules and regulations. Familiar with safe walking and pedestrian procedures. Such alternatives to the above quali?cations as the Superintendent of Schools may ?nd appropriate and acceptable. Reports to the Principal / Assistant Principal. RESPONSIBILITIES: Report directly to assigned crossing station, punctually, and remain there until the conclusion of assignment. Ensure that children use proper crossing location and that no children are in the street while tra?c is moving. Be alert for present or potential tra?c hazards in the area surrounding the assigned crossing. Submit to the Director of Finance and Operations a written report of any such hazard with a recommendation for remedial steps to be taken. Report for duty in furnished safety vest. Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the Assistant Superintendent or Building Principal. WORK SCHEDULE: Work schedule will coincide with the school schedule for the school year, rain or shine.
