Quality Control Inspector

Randstad is seeking a dependable Quality Control Inspector to cover a critical Weekend Shift for a premiere aerospace component manufacturer in West Babylon, NY. This role ensures that active manufacturing runs, surface treatments, and shipping batches maintain compliance with precise tolerances before leaving the facility over the weekend.

salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Execute visual and dimensional inspections on finished components and surface-treated assemblies according to quality templates.

• Document inspection findings, process material tracking tags, and generate formal inspection approvals or non-conformance reports.

• Use precision inspection devices, including thread gauges, micrometers, and surface finish testers.

• Support line trace reporting to guarantee complete alignment with AS9100 parameters.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
