Overview

Manually pull materials/doors and properly inspect, stack and stage for loading. Reads order, gathers ordered materials/doors manually or with forklift, sorts for proper stacking, applies place cards, stages for loading.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining assigned warehouse areas organized, labeled and with only the correct product in them. Rotating overstock and inventory as needed Aid in monitoring material throughout the plant to ensure it is in proper location and help locate product for pullers and other personnel as needed Help ensure product is stored and handled in a safe damage free manner Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, excellent dexterity, must work at a fast pace and handle multiple parts, fast pace is physically demanding Must have moderate knowledge door types. Moderate knowledge is needed in core and skin types, door/customer quality specs, and production tickets. Read tape measure to 1/32" inch. Efficient tool operation Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memo High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred 1-2 years in manufacturing environment, preferred
