Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while putting people first in every interaction.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $28.00 / HourJob ScheduleDayTimeMon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM### What You'll Do* Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or restricted area access concerns according to post orders.* Support Allied Universal and site leadership by completing required reports, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and following location-specific guidelines for sensitive or controlled environments.Minimum Requirements* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.* Alarm panel experience is preferred.* A guard card and/or license is preferred.* CPR certification is preferred.* CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.* A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us* Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.* Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.* Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.* Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
