Senior Director of Operations

Hype & Vice is a fast-growing women's licensed gameday apparel brand scaling toward its next stage of growth. We're looking for a Senior Director of Operations to take full ownership of our end-to-end operation — the person who makes the entire machine run smoothly, reliably, and efficiently, so the business can scale without friction. Reporting directly to the founders, you'll be the senior operational leader who unifies production, warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment under one roof. You'll own the systems, processes, and teams that get product from creation to the customer — on time, accurately, and at a cost that protects our margins. This is a "build it to scale" role for someone who has run operations at a growing company and knows how to turn day-to-day execution into a well-oiled, repeatable engine. Operational Leadership & Strategy Own the entire operational function end-to-end, ensuring the business runs smoothly day-to-day Translate company growth goals into operational plans, capacity, and infrastructure Serve as the senior operational right hand to the founders, removing operational load from leadership Build the operational foundation that allows the company to scale efficiently Production & Inventory Coordination Oversee the full product flow from production through delivery, ensuring everything lands on time Guarantee inventory is always available to meet demand — no lost sales due to stockouts, especially in peak season Coordinate production timelines and logistics to eliminate delays and gaps Partner with vendors and internal teams to enable fast, flexible replenishment Warehouse Operations Lead all warehouse operations end-to-end: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping Implement and maintain inventory and warehouse systems (RFID, WMS) to keep operations organized and accurate Drive warehouse efficiency, layout, and throughput Consolidate and standardize warehouse processes across the operation Logistics & Freight Management Own inbound and outbound logistics, including carrier and freight relationships Negotiate shipping rates and terms across parcel and freight to reduce cost per shipment Optimize shipping methods and routing to control costs while protecting delivery speed Analyze shipping spend (paid vs. actual) and drive continuous cost improvement Manage any third‑party logistics (3PL) relationships as the operation scales Fulfillment (Wholesale & DTC) Own fulfillment across all channels, ensuring every order ships on time and accurately Coordinate resources and inventory across channels to optimize efficiency Build the fulfillment processes that scale with volume Process Design & Continuous Improvement Identify inefficiencies and build better, standardized, repeatable processes Implement the systems, workflows, and tools that let the company do more with less Turn a business that runs on effort into one that runs on process Quality & Compliance Ensure everything ships on time and error‑free Eliminate chargebacks by building the processes and controls that prevent compliance penalties Own operational quality standards across the board Vendor Management & Cost Control Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and capacity Manage supplier relationships to support consistent, reliable, high‑volume output Own operational budgets and hit cost and efficiency targets Team Leadership Lead, manage, and develop the operations organization — including directors, managers, and warehouse teams Set goals, drive accountability, and build a culture of on‑time, error‑free execution Hire, onboard, and grow the operations team as the company scales Directly manage a team of 20+ across operations, warehouse, and inventory functions Metrics & Accountability Define and track the operational KPIs that matter (fill rate, on‑time delivery, order accuracy, inventory availability, chargeback rate, cost per unit) Use data to drive decisions and continuously improve performance { "msg": "Mous8_7"; } #J-18808-Ljbffr
