HR Generalist

Confidential Human Resources Generalist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join a dynamic team in a confidential role. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing organization's human resources functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and supporting HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support talent acquisition and recruitment efforts including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
• Assist with hiring and termination processes, including conducting pre-screenings and exit interviews.
• Administer employee benefits, compensation programs, and performance management initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for employees on HR-related matters such as leave policies and compensation concerns, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
• Organize and coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for candidates as needed.
• Promote HR programs fostering a positive, efficient, and conflict-free workplace environment.
• Maintain and manage personnel records in both electronic and physical formats in accordance with company policies.
• Facilitate onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit procedures, ensuring data accuracy within HR information systems (HRIS).
• Provide backup support for payroll processing including updates to employee files and benefits administration.
• Assist in managing communications related to employee handbooks, directories, and organizational charts.
• Help plan and execute monthly employee engagement activities to enhance workplace culture.
• Recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures to elevate employee experience and department efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal employment regulations.
• Report essential information to senior leadership as necessary and fulfill additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in HR functions including employment law, program management, staff development, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Work Environment:

• Ability to maintain focused attention to detail during sustained periods of work.
• Primarily sedentary with occasional requirements to stand, walk, or move objects up to 20 pounds.
• Use of visual skills including color, depth perception, and focus adjustments.
