Your Key Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (depending on credentials)
• Providing educational resources to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments in accordance with your practice scope
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, integrative care
• Accurately documenting patient encounters within electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
