Join a respected general contractor in the Bothell area and gain hands-on exposure to commercial and multifamily projects from kickoff through closeout.Location: Bothell, WA OnsiteSalary: $77,000 – $85,000 DOEWhy This Opportunity Stands OutWork with a reputable general contractor known for delivering commercial and multifamily construction projects.Partner closely with Project Managers and field teams, gaining visibility into all stages of the construction process.Expand your skills across project accounting, billing, contract administration, and financial reporting.Build broad project knowledge through involvement from project startup to closeout.Join a collaborative team environment with accessible leadership and strong operational support.Contribute to high-profile projects while developing specialized construction accounting expertise.Enjoy long-term career growth opportunities within a stable and growing organization.Key Responsibilities for the Project AccountantProcess accounts payable, invoices, check runs, and company credit card reconciliations.Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate project-related general ledger activity.Support project billings and assist with accounts receivable collections.Reconcile contracts, subcontracts, AP, and AR accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.Assist with project closeout and final financial documentation.Qualifications for the Project Accountant3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within construction, general contracting, or project-based industries.Strong background in AP, AR, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.Experience with construction accounting software such as Procore, Viewpoint Vista, Sage 300 CRE, or similar platforms.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
