Assistant / Associate / Full Professor

Work Status Full-Time (FT) Temporary: No Location Troy - T01 Job Summary The Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in Art & Design is responsible for teaching courses in graphic design. Other responsibilities may require advising students; participating in senior reviews; and serving on departmental, college and university committees, management and teaching within the online design program. Teaching Load In-Class Teaching: 75% Online Teaching: 25% Minimum Qualifications MA or MFA in Graphic Design and substantial experience in the design field including new media, animation or video. Ability to teach a full range of digital design for multiple print, web and other applications, adhering to best practices using the Adobe CC industry-standard software packages. Preferred Qualifications Significant professional experience as a design and/or art director. Substantial higher education teaching experience. Online teaching experience. Work Hours Standard face-to-face teaching load with outside-of-class office hours as described in the Faculty Handbook.
