Job Description

We are a full service shop ranging from full ground up builds to modifications of existing vehicles, etc. Custom hot rod shop looking for an experienced full time custom car / hot rod builder. Multiple positions are available. We have immediate openings. Candidate should have custom sheet metal experience, MIG & TIG welding skills. This is not a train to learn position. We are looking for team members with experience. We are a full service shop ranging from full ground up builds to modifications of existing vehicles, etc. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND if you don't have the requested skills, etc. Attention to detail is a must. We have several high end builds in process at any given time. We offer competitive pay base on skills and experience.

Auto Body Customizer Responsibilities & Duties

Install body kits, spoilers, and other aesthetic modifications.
Fabricate and weld custom parts and components.
Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels.
Conduct frame and structural modifications.
Ensure all customizations comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Work with clients to understand and execute their vision.
Install custom lighting and electronic modifications.
Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
Collaborate with other automotive professionals as needed.
Maintain clean and organized workspaces.

Auto Body Customizer Qualifications & Skills

At least 3 years of previous experience in auto body customization or related field.
Certification in auto body repair or customization.
Strong portfolio showcasing past custom work.
Advanced skills in welding and metal fabrication.
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and structures.
Attention to detail and precision in work.
Good communication skills for client interactions.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Problem-solving skills and creativity.
