Title Dental Front Desk & Insurance Specialist Job Description Greet and warmly welcome patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service. Verify and submit dental insurance claims; perform follow-up on outstanding insurance issues. Confidently discuss treatment plans, financial options, and collect payments. Manage scheduling for doctors and hygienists effectively. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance. Manage patient intake, chart retrieval, data entry, inventory, and communications (phone and email). Collaborate with the clinical team to support administrative tasks as needed. Demonstrate strong teamwork and excellent communication throughout all interactions. Utilize Open Dental software proficiently for daily operations. Salary Range full-time $26 - $30 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Benefits Monthly profit sharing bonus program. Paid holidays and vacation pay. Shift & Schedule Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM with 1-hour lunch break Friday to Sunday: Closed Requirements Open Dental Minimum 5 years of dental front desk experience with comprehensive knowledge of dental insurance verification, claims submission, billing, and payment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with dental practice software (Open Dental preferred). Patient-focused with a professional demeanor and excellent phone etiquette. High attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask responsibly. Strong ethical standards and commitment to quality patient care. Ability to work Monday through Thursday 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM with a one-hour lunch. Preferences Familiarity with cosmetic and elective dentistry office procedures. Experience in financial discussion and treatment presentation.
