Telemetry Registered Nurse - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a fast-paced, high-volume Telemetry unit that handles multiple and complex diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing, able to float to other areas of equal or lesser acuity as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac dysrhythmias, ACS, CHF, and other telemetry-related conditions.
• Perform and interpret telemetry readings and respond to critical changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as per protocols.
• Assist with the management of central lines, chest tubes, and various therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact state.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
