Hourly Manager Pay Rates 16.50 - 19.00 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and availability. Position Overview A Shift Manager at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the sole employer; the restaurant is licensed to use McDonald’s logos and food products but is not employed by McDonald’s USA. Responsibilities The Shift Manager leads each shift, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Duties include: Planning and scheduling each shift. Monitoring performance during the shift and taking action to meet McDonald’s standards. Ensuring safety, security, and profitability. Communicating with the next Shift Manager to facilitate a seamless transition. Supporting department goals and meeting shift targets. Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older. Positive team player with a flexible schedule. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
