Position Overview\n
Calm Spring Counseling Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. In this full-time, remote position, you will have the opportunity to provide therapeutic support to clients across the United States, helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their mental health journeys. The ideal candidate will possess one of the following active licenses: LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC and will demonstrate a sincere commitment to delivering quality mental health care. With a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, we are looking for an experienced professional who values both personal and professional growth.
About the Organization\nAt Calm Spring Counseling Group, our mission is to connect skilled mental health counselors with clients who require compassionate and effective care. Through our innovative online platform, we offer services to individuals with a variety of needs, predominantly those who are stable and have low acuity challenges. Our professional team collaborates to create a supportive environment that fosters healing and growth, ensuring that both our patients and our staff thrive. We take pride in maintaining a strong community focus, aiming to serve the mental health needs of our local and broader populations.
Work Environment\nThis position is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home. While working from home, it is essential that you have a reliable internet connection and a private space to maintain confidentiality and provide a professional setting for your clients. Our remote work environment promotes flexibility and a healthy work-life balance, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. This role does not require on-call responsibilities, enabling you to focus on your clients during scheduled sessions.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n

- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs. \n
- Work collaboratively with other treatment team members to coordinate and integrate care for clients. \n
- Provide education and support to clients' families, helping them to engage effectively in the recovery process. \n
- Maintain and document accurate and timely records of all sessions and interactions in accordance with organizational regulations. \n
You will primarily work with clients who have been pre-screened and exhibit low to moderate acuity levels, ensuring that you can focus on high-quality therapeutic care rather than crisis management. Our clients range from adolescents to young adults, presenting with various mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in helping them develop coping strategies, improve their well-being, and foster improved mental health outcomes.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. \n

- Strong engagement skills and a warm, empathetic approach towards clients. \n
- Advanced computer proficiency, including navigation of electronic health records and Google Suite. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. \n
- Consistency in a neat and professional presentation during all interactions. \n
- \n
- 2-3 years of experience in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. \n
- A willingness to participate in training courses focused on our evidence-based frameworks for treatment. \n
- Comfort and capability to work independently in a home-based environment while prioritizing patient confidentiality. \n
- \n
- A competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. \n
- A comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off. \n
- Flexible scheduling options to enhance work-life balance. \n
- Personalized health insurance recommendations through Stride Health to best fit your needs. \n
