Job Opportunity: Nephrologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board certified/eligible Nephrologist to become a part of our vibrant and collaborative team of ten nephrologists. This position is dedicated entirely to nephrology, providing a unique chance to engage in Academic Nephrology while caring for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice general nephrology across various settings, including:
    • In-patient consultations
    • Out-patient hemodialysis
    • General nephrology clinic
    • Peritoneal dialysis clinic
    • Specialty clinic
  • Receive training in Therapeutic Apheresis and participate in the care of patients requiring Apheresis.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including:
    • Teaching medical students, residents, and nephrology fellows
    • Conducting clinical research
  • Explore academic pursuits through teaching and research within the Department of Medicine.
  • Provide care to underserved communities through partnerships with local health systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
  • Commitment to academic and clinical excellence.
  • Willingness to engage in community service and educational initiatives.
Working Conditions

This role involves a mix of clinical responsibilities in various nephrology settings, allowing for a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $265,000 to $295,000 , depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which will be discussed during the recruitment process.
