Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Certified Laboratory (CL) technologist position is based in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role involves supporting vascular and neuro interventional procedures within an acute care setting. The technologist will be responsible for monitoring patient hemodynamics, maintaining sterile techniques, and assisting in complex neuro and vascular cases using advanced imaging equipment, with a focus on neuro procedures including stroke therapy, carotid stenting, and spine work.

Job Details:

• Schedule: M-F, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call, totaling approximately 10 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call requirements include 1-2 shifts during the week, every 3rd weekend, and possible holidays, with a 45-minute callback time.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT(R) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of professional experience in interventional radiology; location outside 50 miles of the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The technologist will perform 20-30 cases daily, covering both vascular and neuro interventional procedures, utilizing Canon, Siemens, and GE ultrasound equipment. Candidates should demonstrate above-average skills in cerebral coiling, Kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting. Responsibilities include patient preparation, monitoring vital signs, documenting procedures, assisting with emergent resuscitative measures, and participating in inventory and performance improvement activities. This position is primarily neuro IR but also covers body IR; scrub color provided.
