Field Reimbursement Manager - Oral Migraine

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs, access tools, and reimbursement services
• Advise providers on product acquisition options, specialty pharmacy networks, and specialty distribution channels
• Communicate national and regional payer policies, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes
• Liaison with AbbVie's Access and Reimbursement support center to update providers on prescription status and eligibility
• Report payer trends and maintain relationships with providers within assigned territory

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Neuroscience experience with managed health care, payer account management, or access and reimbursement background
• Thorough understanding of payer policy processes, coverage requirements, coding, and payment systems for specialty medicine
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D reimbursement dynamics
• Comprehensive understanding of drug acquisition in Neuroscience, including specialty pharmacies and distributors
• Bachelor's degree and valid driver's license
• Ability to satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements including background checks and immunization verification
• Excellent territory and account management skills with ability to communicate complex billing and coding requirements
