AI Art Director

We’re looking for a visually obsessed Art Director with a sharp eye, refined taste, and a passion for emerging creative technology. This role is ideal for someone actively producing high-quality, commercially viable visuals using a blend of traditional art direction and advanced AI-driven workflows. You will help shape compelling visual storytelling by combining conceptual thinking with scalable image and video execution. What You’ll Do Lead the creation of emotionally resonant, high-quality visual content across digital and product experiences Generate, iterate, and refine imagery using state‑of‑the‑art AI tools and creative workflows Develop visual styles and systems that can scale across various formats and use cases Engineer prompts and workflows that produce consistent, high‑quality outputs across different inputs Prototype and evolve AI‑driven creative processes for internal tools and new user experiences Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners including design, engineering, and product teams to bring ideas to life Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in AI‑generated content, social storytelling, and visual culture Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in art direction, visual design, or a related creative discipline Deep expertise in AI‑powered creative tools and workflows, including but not limited to Midjourney, GPT‑based tools, Weavy, Seedance, Nanobanana, and similar platforms Demonstrated ability to concept and execute visually compelling work using AI across social or digital channels Strong point of view and highly refined visual taste with a portfolio that reflects creative excellence Experience developing scalable visual systems and repeatable creative processes Proven ability to “prompt engineer” and guide AI systems toward predictable, high‑quality outputs Strong understanding of social‑first content and what resonates with modern audiences Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and highly iterative creative approach Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience experimenting with emerging AI tools, workflows, and real‑time creative systems Background in developing AI‑driven prototypes or contributing to product innovation Strong awareness of trends in AI‑generated art, design, and social storytelling Work Environment Fast‑paced, highly collaborative team environment Opportunity to work alongside highly skilled creatives and technologists Hybrid or remote within the U.S., with a strong preference for candidates who can work onsite periodically in a San Francisco‑based environment Contract Details Contract role through end of year with strong potential for extension Open to candidates based anywhere in the United States Why Join This is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting‑edge team pushing the boundaries of AI‑driven creativity.
