Robert Half Talent Solutions is partnering with an organization searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accrual accounting, and experience supporting annual audit processes.
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will:•Reconcile bank accounts, prepare and post journal entries, and complete general ledger account reconciliations.
•Perform variance analysis on income and expense accounts for reasonableness.
•Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
•Support internal and external audits by creating schedules, reports, and documentation.
•Strengthen internal control systems and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
•Prepare future revenue estimates.
•Perform other duties as assigned. Desired Senior Accountant qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or business
•3+ years of full cycle accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP accounting
•Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
•Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.
•Experience with PowerBI or AI Automation is a plus.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization. Our client offers a competitive benefits package and base salary to $90k.
