???? PRODUCTION COOK - POKE, ROAST MEATS & FOOD PREP ????Honolulu, HI

A locally owned and fast-paced food operation is seeking an experienced Production Cook to support daily preparation for a high-volume marketplace specializing in poke bowls, local-style plate lunches, and ready-to-serve food combinations.

This position focuses on large-scale food preparation, including cutting fish, roasting meats, preparing vegetables, and ensuring ingredients are ready for daily service. Ideal candidates enjoy working behind the scenes in a production kitchen and take pride in producing quality food consistently.

• Cut and prepare fresh fish for poke production

• Roast, slice, and portion meats for daily service

• Wash, trim, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients

• Follow recipes, portioning standards, and food preparation procedures

• Prepare ingredients for poke bowls, combo plates, and grab-and-go food items

• Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standards

• Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations

• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating products

✅ Previous kitchen, production cook, prep cook, butcher, seafood preparation, or food manufacturing experience preferred

✅ Experience handling raw fish, meats, and fresh produce is a plus

✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

✅ Strong attention to quality, consistency, and food safety

✅ Dependable attendance and punctuality

✅ Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift

✅ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
