Essential Job Functions Assists with preparing all food items & following proper recipes and procedures. Ensures all food items are prepared in a timely fashion to ensure freshness. Meets with Culinary Services Manager & Cooks per menu prep & recipes. Ensures kitchen is always clean & sanitary. Monitors all storage areas for proper labeling, dating, cleanliness & organization. Assists with planning and preparing special events. Tracks all production and temperature logs. Attends assigned meetings as required. Provide a high level of customer service to both residents and team members. May assist with cooking or additional duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must obtain a food handler card within 30 days of hire. Knowledge of food handling and food preparation. Proficient verbal and written English communication skills required.
