ARRT Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Pain

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technologist (Radiographer) to perform comprehensive radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures essential for diagnosing specific conditions. This full-time day position offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated interventional pain department serving a Southeastern U.S. regional community.

Education and Formal Training

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited radiologic sciences program. ARRT (Radiography) registration or eligibility is required. Maintaining current AHA BLS certification is mandatory.

Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, new graduates who are ARRT registered or registry eligible are encouraged to apply. New graduates with registry eligibility must obtain ARRT Radiography registration within twelve months of hire.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication are essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent patient care abilities, understanding developmental needs across all age groups, and interact compassionately with patients of all ages.

Physical Requirements

This role involves prolonged standing, bending, and manual dexterity. The ability to assume awkward positions, respond quickly in emergencies, and lift up to 100 lbs or carry objects up to 50 lbs is required. Exposure to blood or infectious materials is possible, so adherence to safety protocols is critical.

Licenses and Certifications

ARRT certification in Radiography is required. Current AHA BLS certification must be maintained.
