There are two exciting openings available:

• One Self-Contained/PRTF classroom for grades 6-12, serving a small group of 8-10 students in an in-person only setting.
• One Elementary Resource position for grades 3-5, working with 12-15 students.

Both roles are set to begin immediately and are contracted through June 11, 2027, at 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience working in specialized settings:
  – Self-contained or psychiatric residential settings for grades 6-12.
  – Elementary resource support for grades 3-5.
• A strong ability to collaborate with administrators, support staff, and parents to implement IEPs.
• Adaptability and creativity in customizing instruction to diverse learning needs.
• Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Your Impact:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction and interventions tailored to student abilities and IEP requirements.
• Develop a supportive classroom community where each student feels safe and valued.
• Collect and analyze student progress data to shape instruction and intervention strategies.
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, specialists, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insightfully to educational planning.
