The role works collaboratively with campus partners and departmental colleagues to identify community needs, implement programs and initiatives, and support student learning and development.\n The Campus Living Community Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator participates in rotating Tier 2 on-call coverage, including weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts. Responsibilities include responding to a wide range of high-level and critical incidents, providing emergency and crisis support, and offering consultation and assistance to Community Assistant Tier 1 on-call staff. The position requires sound judgment, effective communication, and collaboration with appropriate campus resources during emergency and crisis situations.\n During the summer months, the Campus Living Community Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator assists with the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of summer student staff. The Campus Living Community Assistant Coordinator assists with the daily management and operations of a larger campus living community and may assist with the supervision of approximately 17–22 Community Assistants.
