Level 1- Windows Systems Administrator- 53327 Job Title: Level-1 -System Administrator Clearance Required: Secret Employment Type : Full-Time/Exempt Job Description: Syneren is seeking a talented Junior Windows Systems Engineer with Azure experience to join our team. As a Junior Windows Systems Engineer with Azure experience, you will work closely with our clients to design, deploy, and maintain Windows-based server and cloud infrastructure solutions. The position will be based in Alexandria, VA Responsibilities: Designing and implementing Windows-based server and cloud infrastructure solutions for clients Ensuring the security, availability, and performance of client infrastructure Assist in troubleshooting complex client issues related to server and cloud infrastructure Participate in project planning and execution activities for technical projects Analyze environment performance and conduct problem resolution activities Collaborate with engineers and architects to design and implement technical solutions Document technical processes, procedures, and infrastructure configurations Support the daily administration and maintenance of client server and cloud infrastructure Qualifications: 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Cloud Expert, or VMWare Certified Professional are highly desirable. Minimum 2 years of experience in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy management Experience with Azure infrastructure and services Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper‑V, VMware) Familiarity with common network protocols and services such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and SMTP Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills related to Windows‑based server and cloud infrastructure Experience with PowerShell scripting language is a plus Strong written and oral communication skills are required Must be a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic Certifications: CompTIA Sec + and AZ-900 About Syneren: Syneren is an award winning, CMMI Level 3 certified, high quality provider of technology solutions for the government as well as commercial sectors.
