Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Current, active Virginia physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting.
• Ability to communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons.
• Experience working within team-based outpatient clinics preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Duration: 9 week assignment.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday work week.
• Position Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, collaborate with in-house and specialty physicians, and assist center colleagues in clinical issue identification.
