Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care

Outpatient Breast Surgery / Oncology Clinic RN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements:

  • Active RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience
  • Relevant experience in outpatient/ambulatory clinic and/or oncology (inpatient or outpatient)
  • Experience with Epic charting system required
  • Preferred: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Oncology Nurse Certification (ONC)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telephone triage and manage new patient calls.
  • Provide surgical teaching and drain care for patients.
  • Coordinate care for patients undergoing breast surgery or oncology treatment.
  • Perform medication reconciliation, vital signs monitoring, and pain assessments.
  • Educate patients regarding perioperative care related to breast surgery.
  • Support patients with high-risk genetic predispositions.

Compliance / Notes:

  • References: 2 references covering 1 year of recent experience required during compliance.
  • Mandatory learning: Pre-start modules (~16 hours typical) to be completed and recorded.
  • Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this travel position.
  • All facilities accept active compact nursing licenses.
