Position Overview

An established outpatient medical practice is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with Cardiology experience to join its clinical team serving patients in Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY .

The ideal candidate is a clinically skilled Physician Assistant who is comfortable providing outpatient cardiovascular care and can communicate effectively with a predominantly Chinese-speaking patient population.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide follow-up care and ongoing management of cardiology patients.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Active New York PA license and current NCCPA certification .
• Physician Assistant experience in Cardiology or a closely related cardiovascular setting .
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an outpatient environment.
• Mandarin or Cantonese speaking ability is required.
• Strong commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
