CDL A Truck Driver

Stone Bridge Iron & Steel is looking for a qualified Class B driver to deliver steel to jobsites and perform repairs to OTR trailers.

*DUTIES:*

Assists in loading and unloading truck. Performs pre-trip inspection of truck for defects and informs maintenance of any adverse conditions found. Maintains driver log in accordance with federal and state regulations. Drives truck to destination. Responsible for all cash, checks and receipts. Operate snow removal equipment. Assist in shop as needed. Performs repairs on OTR trailers.

*QUALIFICATION:*
Minimum of two years related experience with Class B license. *MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE MANUAL SPLIT SHIFT TRANSMISSION*. Basic mechanical repairs on OTR trailers.

Ability to read and interpret documents, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in English written and oral. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; moving mechanical parts.
