Maintenance Tech - 3rd Shift

Equipment Maintenance TechnicianMaintains all equipment and facilities. Performing all PM checks and procedures as scheduled. Assist with set up and change over's.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust adhere to all Multimatic New Haven Safety practices, policies & proceduresMachine diagnostics/trouble-shooting & repairMachine installation & set up proceduresPerform welding & fabrication as neededPerform preventative maintenance (PM's) procedures related to all manufacturing equipmentPerform all facility related repairs and/or project work as assignedResponsible for completing and turning in all maintenance related documentation including but not limited to daily log sheets for TPM's and all required Control Plans and Downtime logsCoordinate with other resources (Supervisors/Managers) time, material and equipment required to perform necessary work as neededMust be self-driven; with minimal supervisionHave or acquire all hands tools to perform the jobQualifications and RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or ExperienceAssociate degree in a technical field and/or other related formal course work or equivalent years of experience in this or similar role in a manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)1 - 3 years' experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical & weldingExcellent trouble-shooting/problem solving skills & experienceLanguage SkillsAbility to read and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Mathematical SkillsAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
