Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our dynamic team in servicing shipyards accross the Gulf Coast. If you have a passion for welding and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Structural Welder, you will play a crucial role in constructing and repairing various structures on Ships, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. Join us in creating robust frameworks that stand the test of time!

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
Perform welding tasks on various metal structures, including beams, columns, and frames.
Utilize various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
Proven experience as a structural welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in various welding techniques and familiarity with welding equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid welding certification is a plus.
