Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Conducting initial assessments with patients to determine their mental health status and needs.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
• Engaging in regular virtual therapy sessions with clients, equipping them with coping skills and strategies necessary for overcoming their challenges.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds, presenting a range of mental health concerns. Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidenced-based therapies, and cultural competence in providing therapeutic services.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have experience delivering both individual and group therapy, especially using inclusive and culturally responsive approaches. Compensation and Benefits
