Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory services as a travel Cath Lab Tech in a high-volume hospital setting. Support diagnostic and interventional procedures with a focus on patient safety and clinical precision.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures according to physician orders.
• Operate and monitor imaging equipment necessary for cardiac interventions.
• Ensure patient preparation, safety, and post-procedure care are followed in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards throughout all procedures.
• Document procedural details and patient data accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver efficient cardiac care.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist.
• At least 1 year of recent experience working in a cardiac catheterization lab.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Ability to operate specialized cath lab equipment and imaging systems proficiently.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as per facility policy.
