Las Noches De Luminarias Seasonal PositionEnsure set-up and teardown of Las Noches de Luminarias is handled safely, promptly, and to Garden standards.Essential DutiesPrepare and install/de-install string lights on treesPrepare and setup rooftop LuminariasPrepare and set out Luminaria bags on trailsChange out candles in Luminaria bagsEnsure the safety of guests around fire pitsProvide event-related services during the Luminaria event, such as equipment handling and deliveriesPerform related general tasks as requested by the Event Manager and Event Services StaffPay: $18.00 per hourRequirementsMust be 18 years of age in order to transport alcohol as part of job requirementsMust have good communication skills and time managementMust possess exemplary customer service skillsA valid Arizona driver's license requiredAbility to work off-hours including evenings, weekends, and/or holidaysThe role requires the use of small tools, ladders, and power tools. The ability to drive a cart is required.Frequent communication with Garden staff in multiple departments.Occasional communication with visitors, vendors, and partners.Must be able to walk, sit, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, see, hear, speak, read, and type. Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds required. Must be able to climb a ladder, be comfortable working with heights (including rooftops), and be physically capable of operating small handtools.
