American Electric Power (AEP) is one of the largest electric utilities in the U.S. We are growing and we want YOU to grow with us! We are partnered with InnoSource to offer direct-hire, in-office positionsyou will become an AEP employee on Day One!

We offer a comprehensive training program, and our next class begins October 5th, 2026. The training will take place in-office at our Shreveport location and employees will work in-office for at least six months after training. The ability to begin working remotely after the six-month period is available based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via phone to assist with inquiries and resolve issues.
• Provide accurate information regarding orders, billing, and other account management tasks.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding in all customer interactions.
• Document customer interactions and follow up as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to improve customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Starting Pay: $18/hour Location: Shreveport, LA
