Maintenance Technician

Are you a skilled electro-mechanical technician looking for a hands-on role in a highly automated facility? We are hiring a Maintenance & Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair our industrial manufacturing equipment.

In this role, you will work closely with our production team and remote OEM support to minimize downtime and optimize Siemens and PLC-controlled systems. If you have diagnostic skills and experience with CNC machinery or automated lines, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation equipment failures.
• Automation Support: Troubleshoot PLC systems, drives, sensors, and actuators. Perform Siemens PLC diagnostics and minor program adjustments.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Maintenance & Equipment Care: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Replace and align cutting/polishing heads and execute mechanical upgrades.
• OEM Collaboration: Partner with Breton remote technical support teams and follow troubleshooting instructions.
• Safety & Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs. Adhere to OSHA regulations, LOTO procedures, and safety protocols.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 3 - 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment required.
• Education: High school diploma/GED required; Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Automation, or Electrical Technology preferred.
• Technical Skills: Electrical troubleshooting, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and familiarity with Siemens PLC systems/TIA Portal. Experience with Breton equipment is a plus.
• Safety Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a noisy industrial environment using proper PPE. Note: No facial hair is permitted due to respiratory PPE fit-testing requirements.
• Compliance: Electrical work must align with TDLR licensing requirements and Texas law. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• OEM Collaboration: Coordinate with Breton remote technical teams, following OEM instructions and providing accurate feedback.
• Documentation: Maintain precise maintenance records, troubleshooting logs, and repair history.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to OSHA standards, LOTO procedures, and PPE requirements while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Avoid facial hair due to respiratory fit-testing.
• Optimization: Support continuous improvement and equipment optimization projects.
