Job Title: Shipfitter Welder (need shipyard experience)

Pay: 45 an hour

Location: Goose Creek, SC

Job Description

Perform welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys. Determine layouts and weld parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.

• Experience in welding techniques such as pulse arc, MIG, and flux core.

• Ability to perform fabrication tasks.

• Skilled in layout determination and understanding of engineering drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with welding metals and metal alloys.

• Ability to ensure welding meets required tolerances.

Work Environment

Work in a shop environment at the newly acquired facility in Charleston/Goose Creek. Multiple shifts are available, providing flexibility in working hours.

This is a Contract position based out of Goose Creek, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
