Job Description
Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Schedule

3 x 12 hour nights; 18:45 - 07:15. Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. 36 hours can be offered per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical Orthopedics.
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills for peripheral line care and management.
• Respiratory skills, including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management.
• Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge.
• Certifications: BLS required.
• Experience with EPIC and SBAR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an orthopedic surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
