Job Details Job Location: Marietta, OH 45750 Position Type: PRN Job Shift: PRN Job Category: Allied Health Job Functions Operates the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans utilizing the scope of practice for medical imaging as defined by ARRT and ASRT and in compliance with the Ohio Department of Heath rules and regulations. Reviews each examination for technical accuracy. Proficient at transmitting images to PACS and scanning in appropriate documents. Rotates CT call. Checks for expiration dates on supplies and disposes of expired items. 75% attendance at department meetings. Schedules patients in conjunction with the Outpatient Scheduling Department. Maintains compliance in RQI. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary. Qualifications Two years post high school education. Current radiologic licensure from the State of Ohio Department of Health and ARRT registered required. CT Technologist certification is requested within 2 years and required at 3 years. Failure to obtain within 2 years will result in progressive disciplinary action each quarter (see Personnel Policy No. 90:02 Disciplinary Action). BLS certification required. Special Knowledge, Skills, Training Interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of computer.
