Position Summary


The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic executive leader responsible for managing all aspects of the Finance function. This role involves overseeing accounting operations, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the fiscal health of the company to support its growth in the industrial and energy services sector.

Key Responsibilities



  • Financial Management & Strategy: Manage all aspects of the Finance function, including direct oversight of Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Treasury, and Financial Reporting. Ability to manage a team of finance and accounting resources through a dynamic period of growth, while encouraging cross functional support throughout the organization.

  • Cash Flow & Capital Oversight: Monitor cash flow and manage working capital needs, including managing existing debt and lines of credit, and exploring new debt and equity financing options as required.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Create and maintain financial reports to aid in decision-making and daily management, including Flash Reports, Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheets, Budgets, and Cash Flow Forecasts. IT/Systems and data management experience.

  • Business Partnership: Aid the CEO, COO, and Sales team in evaluating new business opportunities by providing supporting financial data and analysis on potential ventures.

  • Relationship Management: Maintain current and create new relationships with banking, tax, and financial vendors to optimize the company\'s financial health.

  • Compliance & Financial Risk Management: Ensure financial compliance by managing the timely filing of sales tax, property tax, payroll tax, insurance documentation, and workers compensation.

  • Operational Support: Assist in completing required documentation such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), insurance claims, and credit applications as needed.

  • Support business in fast growing environment.

  • Communication: Clearly communicate financial data and results to company leadership, operations, the finance team, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills



  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership, preferably within the industrial or energy services industry.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics; an MBA or CPA certification is highly preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and experience with ERP systems.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team.
