Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment. Ensure patient safety, administer treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and efficiently
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement care plans
• Support patient and family education regarding treatment procedures and health management

Qualifications:

• Hold an active PA or Compact RN license at submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience
• Current AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS) required
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cerner or similar EHR systems preferred
• Ability to float within the hospital and work rotating shifts including nights and holidays
• Must complete fingerprinting, drug screens, and required labs within 24-48 hours of signing
