Physical Therapist - Inpatient and Outpatient Services

Location

Kauai, Hawaii

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM). Flexibility of work hours may occur. Saturdays required.

Job Description

The primary duties include conducting evaluations and providing treatments in various settings, including inpatient (25%) and outpatient (75%) environments. The role requires independence and thorough care approaches for outpatient diagnoses as well as acute to skilled nursing facility (SNF) inpatient mobility progression and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Deliver therapy interventions in acute, ICU, SNF, and outpatient settings.
• Engage in mobility progression and discharge planning.
• Work in the Emergency Room, ICU, Medical/Surgical units, and OB as needed.
• Maintain a full patient schedule with a mix of inpatients and outpatients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Hawaii Physical Therapist license (must obtain as soon as possible).
• Experience in acute and outpatient settings preferred.
