This contract role offers a chance to work closely with a diverse group of students across two supportive high school communities, guiding them toward meaningful communication milestones throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLPs; Bachelor's degree for SLPAs
- Active Georgia SLP License required; GaPSC Certification required for SLPs and SLPAs
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced SLP Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Passion for delivering high-quality therapy services in a school setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy and consultation services to a caseload of approximately 45 students
- Serve two high schools, supporting students primarily in program classrooms
- Administer direct therapy sessions (some students with increased frequency, most receiving sessions weekly or bi-monthly)
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district protocols
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create effective learning environments
