As an Occupational Therapist at Mountainside Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum level of independence and functionality. About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As an OT, you will work closely with our patients, families, and healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on improving daily living skills, cognition, and overall well-being. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients overcome physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges.
Responsibilities:
Conduct holistic assessments to identify patient needs and develop targeted treatment plans
Implement occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and strategies to improve daily living skills and overall functionality
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication
Monitor patient progress, make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop individualized plans
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
