ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Front Desk Weekend Supervisor (Part-Time) is crucial in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for members and guests during our weekend operations. This role is a part-time position that entails working two days a week, totaling 16 hours, across a combination of shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As a leader in our front desk team, you will mentor Service and Sales Representatives (SSR) and assist in retaining members through effective cancel saves and Accounts Receivable (AR) collections.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Enhance the customer experience by mentoring and developing SSRs to deliver exceptional service aligned with our mission and values. Build authentic connections with members and guests to promote membership growth through referrals and encourage retention. Respond swiftly to member feedback and complaints, escalating issues to management when necessary. Provide assistance with membership questions, service inquiries, and billing concerns.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

Uphold high standards of operational excellence for yourself and the SSR team. Support and evaluate SSR performance, delivering constructive feedback for internal growth. Engage in open, honest conversations with team members as needed, following company policies. Inspire cooperation and influence positive behavior within the team.

EMPLOYEE RECRUITMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

Assist in the onboarding process of new SSRs, ensuring they understand expectations and setting them up for success. Create a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and question-asking.

CLUB OPERATIONS

Collaborate with the General Manager in administrative tasks such as billing calls, appointment confirmations, and daily Member Experience Walkthroughs (MEW). Facilitate new member enrollments and explain membership terms clearly. Maintain a pristine and inviting Welcome Desk while ensuring a friendly customer experience. Work with the GM to swiftly resolve any visible incidents, maintenance needs, or equipment issues. Review and adhere to all NYSC policies, procedures, and codes of conduct. Be vigilant about loss prevention measures, including ensuring emergency doors are locked and alarms function properly. Lead by example and foster a service-oriented culture among SSRs. Handle routine member service tasks effectively using club systems. Always arrive on time and in the proper uniform to represent the brand positively.

COMMUNICATION

Collaborate professionally with club staff, corporate personnel, and members through appropriate communication channels. Effectively convey new promotions and services to members to enhance their experience. Reach out to prospective members and referrals to guide them on their fitness journey with us.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all club offerings and services to facilitate sales and build membership value. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring SSRs maintain brand consistency.

PROBLEM SOLVING

Address service, efficiency, and productivity challenges within the club. Resolve customer complaints with a focus on providing timely solutions. Partner with management to identify and eliminate barriers to success.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

2-3 years of customer service experience in person. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a fitness, hospitality, or retail environment. Current Child & Adult AED/CPR certification. Aptitude for learning and utilizing our POS/timekeeping/membership systems effectively. Comfortable leading outreach and generating leads through referral activities. Proven ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere. Skilled in handling challenging member concerns with professionalism and patience. A strong sense of urgency regarding customer service and achieving sales results. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in following up on tasks. Able to work independently and prioritize responsibilities efficiently. Physical abilities include prolonged standing, lifting up to 20 pounds, walking throughout the club, climbing stairs, and bending as needed.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

As this is a part-time role, you will follow a designated schedule that includes working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts. Please note, you will be scheduled 15 minutes before opening and after closing to ensure a complete facility walkthrough. #J-18808-Ljbffr Broughton Group
